About Pin Valley
The Pin valley branches off the main Spiti valley and is protected as a national park. Its villages, rock formations and wide river bed feel remote even by Spiti standards.
On our itinerary Pin Valley is an optional diversion on day 4, depending on the time available and road conditions.

- Day 4: Tabo → Kaza
Shimla → Spiti → Manali · Ancient monasteries and a valley of dramatic cliffs.
Cliff-top Dhankar, then into Pin Valley. Overnight: Kaza.
